Adventure sites

Sun 27 May 2018, 22:03

Just wondering how many of each type of adventure site there are on the map?

And does anyone have a good source for write-ups of locations that could be used alongside the officially published sites?

I have picked up a few system neutral village backdrops and places of power from http://www.ragingswan.com/ and other articles that can be used for inspiration.

I don't have the exact count at hand, but chapter 8 of the GM's Guide has rules and random tables for creating adventure sites. :)

Thanks Tomas, I have read through the random generation guidelines and I am looking forward to putting them to test but I also like to have inspiration to hand for things I can just drop in to my games. I will play around with the tables to see what I can come up with but I am also really looking forward to the additional adventure sites in Ravens Purge.

Since the system is built for hexcrawling anyway, I suggest picking up other good hexcrawls and stealing sites and encounters from them.
That includes Hot Springs Island (high fantasty), Slumbering Ursine Dunes (weird), a lot of the Lamentations of the Flame Princess product line (good but often explicit, be careful), and these three free ones:
