When I first read the Coriolis quickstarter it did not "click" with me, Arabic sci fi?
Arabian nights in space?, I couldn't get a handle on the setting....

Sometime later, I heard by chance a track of music, and the Coriolis setting just suddenly "clicked"
The track is called "Mortals" by Warriyo

I also watched a TV show on Netflix called "Killjoys" a sci fi setting with a subtle Arabic back drop (mostly in Dutch's background)

There is also a soundtrack someone put together for this game

Hello

I had exactly the same idea when watching this series and the hullen make an excellent enemy that will surprise the players
That's true, reminded me a little of the Coriolis quickstarter adventure...
There are a lot of parallels in Killjoys and Coriolis, if you are a fan of the show you would like Coriolis

Killjoy was a miss for me, but I found plenty of inspiration in music. Here some of them:

Here hoping that helps.

I'm new to Coriolis but I love what I've seed so far. I'm setting up my first game and I found an amazing playlist of Ambient Space Music by Youtube user JediMaster. I think it's excellent background music for a gaming session and my favourite is below:

I've also re-read the first three Dune books recently and I'm trying to see how I can incorporate that angle of dangerous mysticism and cult worship. On top of that, I've got a copy of 'One Thousand and One Nights', which is something I've never read before so I'm looking forward to that in the hopes of inspiration.
