Dark Lords kidnap a princess.

Sun 05 Sep 2021, 05:41

Does anyone else find the Queen Korinthia's/ Ambria's backstory a bit generic? This isn't really a topic to bring up here. I love the setting of the game and almost everything about the world, except Korinthia's story.

I'll probably be changing that when I run a campaign. Maybe I haven't read far enough.

Have you read all the campaign because there is plenty to know... and everything is not like it seems.

Is there a piece of artwork that depicts Queen Korinthia?

If I remember well, there is a picture of her leading her troops on horseback, but I don't think we have ever seen her face.

Yea, what he said. There's a bit more going on behind the scenes. For me, in particular, by the time you get to the Haunted Waste, there's so much revealed, and so much that occurs in the realm, its great stuff.

Even if your not doing there adventure paths themselves, and just read the material for setting and background flavor and ideas to set your own adventures too, it's really great stuff that gets revealed in chunks along the way.

Dang I will have to wait for the 5E version. I don’t want to buy it twice!

I hear that. I wasn't going to buy the 5e version... but after seeing it... now I'll have both sets, lol!

I look at it like supporting a solid, well thought out project that enhances my hobby.

Have you pre- ordered? You can get the full pdfs now with you pre-order (at least I think they're still doing that).

Sure did! I have the started set, but I don’t want to invest in the full rule set because my group won’t want to learn a new system. The 5E set is my best hope of getting them into the setting.

I was super tempted to get the Korinthia bundle but I will have to wait for the 5E. I don’t think my group will want to play a different system.
