Re: Looking for Old C7 Forumites

I was there, years ago ... I didn't post a lot, but I did brainstorm a Middle-Earth scenario there that I finally ended up adapting and publishing - in my native German - for the Mythras system (it is still a good fit for Middle-Earth, but comes with its own micro-setting now). So, if anyone's here who shared thoughts with me about a Misty Mountains scenario about a poisoned river and a wounded giant, thank you, and I'll gladly send you a copy (either in German or in English, as soon as I've finished translating it).

Apart from that, I'm really looking forward to the new edition - I haven't played TOR in years, but with a publicity boost, I very much hope that my group will be finally ready to give it another go!

Hello, good to see some old faces around here.

I was Morgoth on the C7 forums, but when I signed up here that name was already taken. I figured I'd use Fingolfin instead since he's a badass and I could still use the same picture from the old forums.

Thought I had posted here to say hello. I was with TOR from before we were able to pre-order.
Nice to see familiar faces :)

It's hard to believe it's been over 9 years! I remember how exciting it was to get the PDFs for the Adventurer's Book and the Loremaster's Book with the slipcase pre-order and reading them for the first time on my old 2nd generation Kindle. I couldn't stop reading. It was magical.
