Falenthal, thank you for that link to the old/new C7 forums. Wow! What a blast from the past.

Ok, it's good to see all of you here, but where in the world is poosticks7? This person was like a machine creating Wild Adventures tables and the adventure "Of Stones & Spiders" was fantastic.

Sadly the Search option doesn't work, but maybe you can find it here:

Or did you know already about this backup?
That's a nice find! I've been having a blast looking at some of those old posts, including some of the threads I (and others) started for House Rules. I still like what I came up with for an optional Staves Weapon Group.

Hi Tolwen here. Some may know me from the times back. Happy to see this forum and looking forward to the new iteration of TOR :)

Hi all, Rich_H here - same name on C7's forums and Random_Rich over on RPGGeek.

Don't have much interest in TOR anymore but nice to see that it's been picked up and has an official forum again!

A pitty! You had great stuff running. And I took benefit from your postings and documents more than once. I have a own folder of your stuff on my drive.
Are you playing other RPG systems now?

Thank you for the kind words!

I've just finished an amazing campaign of Lacuna on Discord for some of my players; they enjoyed it immensely, as did I, and it really highlighted that I get far more out of games that offer more freedom to do your own thing and interpret things your own way etc than the limited options that, by definition, a world so well defined as Middle-earth offers. That kind of thing is a strength for many, and it has been for me, but I've now realised it isn't something I ever want to go back to unless my RPing needs shift again.

Sorry it has taken me a week, but no, I do not have a link to "Of Stones & Spiders." I don't think I've ever read that one either.

I still don't understand why did they close down their own forums.

Best not poke that nest; not really suitable for it to be discussed here!
