Bullet-shaped d6s for ammo dice?

Thu 07 Oct 2021, 19:05

Just wondering if people are aware that you can get d6s shaped like bullets for use as ammo dice? I know there are some made by DVG...

but I think there are plenty of other options too.

I play Warfighter occasionally, but find these dice hard to read. They also tend to not stand still easily and need to roll straight, but hardly tumble. So they cannot be used with dice cups, towers or even small felt boards many people like to use.

That's because you're using the dice wrong. You have to toss a handful and read the results based on direction they're pointing, which hit the ground first, and other esoteric criteria that allow you to declare any result you want.

And use real bullets, not these plastic things with numbers for the muggles; that's the key ;)

And honestly if you're not firing them out of real guns then you're missing all of the drama

I understand. And do you recommend .50 BMG for more "readability"?
