As we now have a "lastCareer" option I added a "firstCareer" option as well for some more user-customisation...

Not sure if this is in the generator, but is there a way to set it to all civilian paths until the "at War" step? I think all civvie characters would be neat.

The original idea was for the generator to create completely random characters but with some degree of intelligence. However, some parameters have already been added and I'm open to suggestions for additional ones. The concept could therefore shift away from a completely random character generation tool to something much more customizable.

Some assumptions have to be made in the code, or at least assigned a random probability. For example, at the moment if the character is an officer, there's a 1 in 3 chance each time they increase a skill or gain a specialty that it's from the officer skills and specialties column. Likewise, in the At War term, I have made the assumption that players would choose Close Combat and Ranged Combat at level D if they didn't currently have those skills. For pure civilian character builds, I might have to revisit those assumptions.

New version experimenting with nicer output (see below). It uses an HTML view with CSS for styling. In theory I could use a background image of a character sheet and fill it in dynamically.

This application is now at version 1.0.3 and vastly improved over previous iterations.

The ideal way would be if the application was hosted on a server but I have no idea how to go about that so for the time being all you can do is run it on your local machine from a command line window and go to the service's URL in your browser. I've private messaged you with a link to the download.
