In the character creation example on page 39, "step" 5:
Clark enters Special Operations. He is promoted to
Sergeant, increases RANGED COMBAT to C, and gets SURVIVAL
D. He makes another RANGED COMBAT roll and succeeds
again! He rolls 1 and gets the Paratrooper specialty. He
is promoted to Staff Sergeant and his CUF increases to
B.

Is there a reason why the example character is increasing his rank twice during this step?

Pg 31, Lifepath step 19 and many of the archetypes. Consider giving d6 bullets worth of stuff as trade goods rather than d6 bullets as currency. The note about ammo as a measure of exchange vs a medium is welcome, but then stating ammo as currency undermines it and breaks verisimilitude. When my cash is what I feed my steel, I'm going to be leery of spending it. When I think in terms of how many bullets can I get for this can of beans, that's better.

Also Pg 31, Life path Step 6, "not matter what skills are listed." should be "no matter what skills are listed."

Note: Is UK or US English the standard to be used? It's correct in the latter.

General comment on starting resources. Several common items are unavailable, such as compasses and sleeping bags. I recommend at least 15-20 BUCs for starting cash rather than D6 or group gear options for multiple units of field gear, such as adding an entry of "D6 items from the field gear list" and adding a compass to the binoculars entry.

Page 93 lists a bayonet as 10 BUCs in the chart. Page 127 lists it at 5 BUCs as a weapon accessory. (As it provides no benefit to a knife over the action economy of not having to draw it when transitioning to melee, I recommend 5. And a knife or bayonet option to all military careers with a knife.)

Page 19 - Example (Rules on Next Page)
"Ronson drops his EMP to D, giving him three attribute increases to use on other attributes"

On page 20, Step 3 says you get all attributes at C and gain three increases, gaining a fourth if you drop an Attribute to D.

One of those is incorrect. Either Ronson needs another advance on page 19 or page 20 needs to state that you get two advances and can buy a third with reducing an attribute to D.

Ah! That explains things. Checking for U's in other words might answer that.

Page 17: Your Buddy says "Mark your choice in the checkbox on the character sheet." There is no checkbox for this on the character sheet. On the sheet, this is where you would write that character's name.

Multiple Archetypes: "Flack jacket" should be "flak jacket"

Page 40 Spending XP
"You can only increase a skill level one step at a time -- going from D to B, for example, costs 25XP in total (10+15)."

This sentence seems to contradict itself or at least jumbles up two rules into an unclear sentence.

I don't see how this is contradictory or jumbled?
