Issues with UK history

Mon 08 Mar 2021, 15:12

Hi all, I have read in a number of posts that people are unhappy with the history provided in the Alpha for the UK and why certain things happened.

I jumped on to the old trusty Twilight 2000 forum for v1, v2, and v3. (https://forum.juhlin.com/). With my google-foo, I found an amazing fan-based history of the UK and the breakdown of society spanning into Europe as well a little.

This is not by any means perfect but I think the creator Rainbow Six was quite spot on in my view. I will be using this timeline and history to add to my sessions.

The link below is to the forum post.

https://forum.juhlin.com/showthread.php ... ED+KINGDOM.

Maybe the powers that be might contact this chap and could take stock of the work that he has done.

Yep, all good the site is a long-established T2000 forum and still very active, I have been a member for over 9 years...

https://forum.juhlin.com/index.php Hold T2000, Morrow Project, and 2300AD.

Hope this sets aside your fears.

Lots of good information of the older systems which can be converted etc.

I've tried hanging out there but the loudest voices in that place are definitely some salty old angry boomer types that don't have much sense of perspective beyond their limited lanes, to say the least.

That said, within those lanes there's some pretty rich stuff, and there are some quite valuable worldbuilding, background, gear, and house-rules things over there for sure.
