That seems strange as in most other YZE games a turn is a much longer period of time than a round, also there are some effects from Vaesen abilities that happen every turn. I wonder why they didn’t just say every round, like they usually would?Turns is a combat measurement. In each combat round each participant may take a turn based on their initiative, so it is seconds not minutes.
That's probably a D&D holdover... in D&D BX/BECMI a round is 6 seconds a turn 10 minutes. AD&D it was round of 1 min, turn of 10 minutes. That seems strange as in most other YZE games a turn is a much longer period of time than a round, also there are some effects from Vaesen abilities that happen every turn. One might think that's natural, but other games (like FFG's Star Wars) have turns that are literal minutes...Turns is a combat measurement. In each combat round each participant may take a turn based on their initiative, so it is seconds not minutes.
I may be mistaken, but I am pretty sure it's only Alien who has both rounds and turn.

You really should check before posting...In both Alien and Forbidden Lands a turn is a specific measurement of time, it’s strange that Vaesen doesn’t distinguish a longer time period than a round, but it is what it is.
