The soundtrack to the play Changeling|Bortbytingen (illustrated cover by Egerkrans) is on Spotfify. Search for Frida Johansson - Bortbytingen Dramaten.

I highly recommend it as soft ambient music during travels, villages, countryside, starting a session et al.

More from Frida. The soundtrack to Unravel 1 and 2 will work mighty fine to Vaesen. Old folk tunes lingers in the ambience of deep and dark woods...

Johan Egerkrans has provided a nice Spotify playlist for Vaesen:

"Byrax, you're golden."

I am blushing. Thanks Daïna, and keep up the good work yourself, with chronicles, maps and ideas. :)

Ralph Lundsten — Nordisk Natursymfoni (1-11).

No-brainer, really; the music could have been written for Nordiska Väsen, only decades earlier. Some of the titles are even suggestive of it.

And boy-oh-boy, did I ever give away my age with that suggestion... :D

Might then just as well follow up with: Jean-Michel Jarre also made a fair bunch of music hauntingly suggestive of the kind of mix between the beauty of the untamed, and the alien and inhuman, that I feel fits right into some parts of the Vaesen setting.

Re Jarre, which tunes? Many are quite spacey.

True, many are. I'm mainly thinking of certain songs in Oxygène, Équinoxe, and Zoolook, IIRC.

I'll have to listen them through again [oh, woe is me... ;) ] to give you the specific titles. Or, you could do that exercise yourself; I'm sure you'll identify them if you do.
