Is child spouses "member of your royal family"?

Thu 04 Jul 2019, 16:08

If my child marries someone from a different culture (and that card is than placed underneat my child's card) is that new family member considered a part of my royal family?

Im asking due to certain events specifying for example "the member of your royal family with the lowest card number" etc.

I assume no since it would allow situations where you have two family members with the same number. Which would mean that events such as the one described would only be applicable to cards from your own culture stack.

It become a spouse to the member of your family that married him/her.

... and just as IRL, a spouse only purpose in royal families is to secure the family line (i.e. create babies)

Tomas has clarified (in the latest FAQ for the game) that spouses can be targeted by those events.
