Would being able to push the roll for armor/cover/rot protection unbalance things too much? I hadn't thought of this before I started listening to the Swedish Rolls podcast, where the GM mistakenly does this (unless it's a house rule or this rule is different in Forbidden Lands).
I kind off like it, both because I feel armor/cover is not powerful enough, and because they break too easily. I mean, gear will normally only be damaged when you push the roll, so rot suits will break much faster.
I realize this will make armor (and by extension, robots) much more powerful.
Any thoughts?
