Hi,

I have recently purchased Coriolis and am very impressed. Really looking forward to running it for my group.

The map of the Third Horizon is beautiful, but I don't fully understand this key and I hope someone can help point me in the right direction.

Each system is classified with one of these four terms:

Faction Space
Civilised Space
Border Space
Uncharted Space

I can hazard a guess at what each means, but are they officially defined somewhere in the core rulebook?

Yes, they are sort of used with page 345, SPACE TRAVEL AND DARKNESS POINTS and in the Atlas Compendium for events & encounters.
