Two handed melee weapons

Thu 23 Dec 2021, 17:51

Short question, how do I know if it’s two handed or not? Going by it it’s heavy seems unreliable seeing as a regular axe is heavy but a dura-sword is also heavy.

Or does this only apply to guns? Like for example the big Legion accelerator gun would literally be unusable?

'Heavy' just means that it take up two rows on the equipment list. For two-handed weapons it is probably up to the GM based on common sense, though I'd imagine that 'Long' weapons would require both hands to get the initiative bonus

Technically, within the game bows are considered two-handed weapons, but it never matters because we don't have any bonuses which apply to all two handed weapons, only to two-handed melee weapons.
