The Crucible-class is a medium-sized station designed to convert raw materials into finished goods. Some stations are used as industrial ore processing stations or gas mines. Others are employed as military academies or civilian training facilities - transforming recruits into professionals. Still others may process nothing but wealth and power as corporate outposts or crime syndicate headquarters. These stations have room for a hundred personnel and boast a variety of facilities to suit a wide range of duties.https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/21 ... t_filtered

ARGOS III Deep Space Port

Argos III is also known as "Midway Station" because it lies as the halfway point of the trade route between the Confederation core worlds and the distant Tohoku Colonies. Though the station is owned by a Japanese crime syndicate, a strong military presence keeps things under control. The end result is a mix between a bustling small-town community, a military base, and a lawless port where anything goes. Whatever you want, and then some, can be found here.

In addition to facilities for the military personnel and residents, Argos III has a multitude of services that cater to travelers and tradesmen passing through. In Blue Sector, the Yosoko Hotel and Autumn Moon Casino lie next to shops and street vendors of all sorts. A short ride on the transit system will take visitors to the Infinity Health Spa or the open spaces of the Green Sector park - featuring the latest in synthetic trees & shrubbery. For those seeking something a little less 'mainstream', the Warrens (where the downtrodden and dispossessed have taken up residence in an empty engineering area) can probably provide. And of course there are ample docking and cargo facilities for ships of all sorts.

This PL 7 deep space port is almost 2400 ft from top to bottom, making it the largest structure in any Future Armada supplement. The interior maps are constructed out of reusable pages which an enterprising GM can also employ to architect his or her own facilities. Even though many pages are reused to construct the station interior, this product still has four times as many unique map pages as a standard issue of Armada! https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/27 ... t_filtered

An outpost built using the Sendai component system first seen on Argos III. This station, known as Port Jericho, is much smaller than Argos III but still has a little bit of everything crammed into its habitation ring. A lawless outpost on the hinterlands of civilized space, the station has about 100 permanent residents and half as many visitors passing through at any given time.

VANGUARD STATION
Security Outpost
This Vigilance-class listening post was designed as a deep-space station that could serve a variety of functions. The small, PL-7 outpost is just over 160 feet tall and houses a permanent crew of 10. There are also barracks and facilities provided for 16 additional personnel or guests
Have you ever hesitated to have space-faring characters arrested because you don't have a detention center ready to receive them? Well, worry no longer! Vanguard Station VII is one of twelve such outposts used as a base of operation by ConFed Security - the law enforcement officers of the space lanes. Not only does the station have a pair of armed patrol craft, but it also has a dedicated detention center and full compliment of trained personnel.
The station lounge and administrative offices are open to the public. The food is only re-hydrated government fare, but the drinks are good and the patrons understandably well behaved. By re-using the barracks map page in place of the detention center, the same station can represent a civilian establishment (like a truck stop in space)or even a military garrison or supply depot. Whether the characters are just visiting (voluntarily or not), or looking for a place to call their own, this little station can fit the bill.

While I appreciate sharing of links to some really good maps and great ideas.  I was hoping this thread would be dedicated to the free sharing of ideas and/or maps for other MU/TH/URs to either use or gain inspiration to help create there own stuff without having to buy additional addons in already potentially expensive hobby.

I also love the film Event Horizon so I decided to make that my groups first location so here is the map for that (not highly accurate but hopefully functional):

So I finally got round to essentially writing up the film into a similar format to the ALIEN corebook and thought I would share it here for everyone that fancies running something a little different.  It very rough around the edges and probably loads of mistakes and obviously tailored to my specific campaign but I thought it was worth sharing.

Side note:  Not included in the files, I custom made up some bad guys for this; basically using the NPC stats in the back of the corebook and giving them similar attacks to the Abominations with some variety, like giving the guy on fire a flamer attack.

Anyway hope people find this useful or at least a little inspirational.

Although admittedly not very fancy in any way -- I suppose you might charitably call them "utilitarian" -- I made the ones in the Nostromo thread in the General section simply in Powerpoint. I am sure many will have access to that or other similarly basic drawing tools.

It does lend itself to much more detail, frills, and bells and whistles though; it just takes a bit more time. My ambition is to continue working on those deck plans and add a lot more detail to them, as time permits.
Before you use the word "XENOMORPH" again, you should read this article through:

This is *awesome*! I saw your Horizon deck plans on Reddit, but the write-up/adventure makes it even better! A great alternate take on the movie for the Aliens universe. I don't suppose you'd be willing to add/share the NPC stats you mentioned too? And are there any "stats" for the Horizon (Hull, Armor, etc.)?

Also, did you ever do print friendly versions of the freighter deck plan (I found the one you did for the Horizon)?
