Re: The Swedish setting

I didn't know about the Strv 141 before: I've learnt something - Thank you!

And having looked it up on the internet, if 1st Ed T2K could have the LAV-75, I think 4th Ed should have the Strv 141.

Re: Vehicles, kit , etc

Looking at the Wikipedia page for the SA80, it states it entered service in 1985, Infantry (incl, RAF Regt and RM) were to be equipped by 1987, all Army units by 1990, Territorial army by 1993 and all military (incl. RAF and RN) by 1993. The German army was I suspect somewhat bigger, but fully equip...

Re: Twilight: 2000!

Go to your account, open 'active pledges' then go to more information.

I pledged as soon as the email came through saying it was live… and was still backer 175. Some very quick acting people out there...

Re: YZE adaptation for Twilight: 2000 gameplay

Reply to Nephron, I agree, but... In principle, I agree. Most shots fired miss. In combat, it seems to me to be mostly fire and movement to get an advantageous position, at which point the enemy retreat, probably with relatively few casualties, unless artillery has been brought in, which seems to be...

Re: YZE adaptation for Twilight: 2000 gameplay

I've been lurking and observing because (i) the only FL game I have is Alien, and I haven't ever played it or even read it properly (ii) it seemed sensible to stay out of things (hey, is there a cowardice stat in T2K?). But in the hope of moving the discussion a little a question for those that know...

Re: Miniatures

Ah! Panzerfaust150 - Hello! I've browsed your site a fair bit, so nice to put a name to the site, as it were. Given the Swedish setting option that is apparently coming, have you, in your 'miniature-travels', come across any of the Gecko Resin models? I'm wondering how fiddly / fragile they are / fi...

Re: YZE adaptation for Twilight: 2000 gameplay

Ok, back to the topic. Detail is not the same as complexity, so it should be possible to have the former without (excessive amounts) of the later. It seems that some games now have character generation that takes all of three minutes (including the 2 minutes it takes to think up the character's name...
