Lore-wise this would make sense for acc. weapons: They are supposed to have a low rate of fire. So why not have acc. weapons needing to reload the accelerator coils or whatever which only ...

A cluster granade has explosive effect 6, dam 2 and crit 1. I roll for my ranged combat as normal and get one 6, i hit with the granade. Assuming they were born in Alberetor and not Ambria, they would know of most natural beasts, and most likely of Dragouls and Death knights. True, the explosive effect of Vulcan rounds could be HR to damage cover (and armour?)
I'd have to think about that mechanically, but tone wise, it would allow for those scenes where walls are being shredded, and even cement columns get eaten away by gunfire.

You never hear people talking about games where PC power levels vary a lot from one to another. But it’s completely playable. And fun! Thanks for the replies! What I gather is that between the 80-100 point mark is where advancement starts to become a « problem » for players. The moment where you start to buy skills and talents that don’t really fit your character's concept, because you’ve nothing else to buy... I always got the fee...

Interesting point. I wonder what the devs opinion on this is. Because I noticed it too. The one thing to note is that if you play Coriolis « correctly », NPCs in a firefight won’t just stand there, they'll be going for cover. So armoured NPCs could easily end up with 10 dice of protection, and light...
