Let's say you were travelling 100 miles. On the old map, that is 10 hexes (1 hex = 10 miles). If you halve the number of hexes it is now 5 hexes then 1 hex = 20 miles. On page 16, I am wondering, you say that on the 12-sided die the 11 is the eye of Sauron, but would it not be the 1?
No, the Feat Die has the results 1-10 on its numeric faces, so we use the 11 for the Eye of Sauron and the 12 for the Rune of Gandalf when using an ordinary die.
