Re: Permanent loss of Resolve

Over on rpg.net, it was clarified that permanent loss of Resolve can only happen when recovering from been broken, not every time a point of Resolve is regained. I think this is not clear from the rulebook at all, and while I don't think this is an error, per se, I'd like to see it spelled out more...

Re: Early Access Feedback - Personal/Vehicles Armor is Useless

Another possible rule is that vehicle armor specifically cannot take critical injury from anything but firearms or vehicle weapons. Perhaps that could be a better option to allow big blunt hammers being options for high strength characters in close combat. I kinda like the idea of some types of wea...

Re: Early Access Feedback - Personal/Vehicles Armor is Useless

I'll just go with the houserule that humans can only roll a d6 crit die against a vehicle with a blunt weapon. (I kind of like the idea that a really strong replicant might punch through a vehicle.) Or just give unarmed and melee weapons crit dice like ranged weapons. You're already doing more dama...

Re: Early Access Feedback - Case File 01: Electric Dreams

The Animoid Row stretch goal said we would get the location, a map, and NPC's.
I don't think we got any NPC's so far. Any chance of getting stats for a couple typical Animoids?

Re: Early Access Feedback - Personal/Vehicles Armor is Useless

Yup. If it remains the same it doesn't really bother me. It's an easy fix if I want to change it. (I don't have a problem with the armor rules overall, and the Crit charts/die are great.)
BUT... as it stands a strong human can literally punch a vehicle into explosion.

Re: Early Access Feedback - Close Combat Concern

Also, besides the firearm Disadvantage that Fenhorn mentions, the melee opponent can try to disarm the shooter, etc.

Re: Early Access Feedback - Personal/Vehicles Armor is Useless

The main problem comes in for characters with A-rated Strength punching a vehicle. If they score a crit there is a 1 in 12 chance the vehicle just blows up from a punch. It breaks the otherwise pretty cool Crit system in the game. Easy fix would be to say that humans only roll a d6 crit die against ...

Re: Blade Runner characters are far more skilled than Twilight 2000 characters?

Agreed. If you don't have a D in a skill, then Disadvantage means you can't roll. It's just a rules tweak for the setting mechanics.

Re: Xenomorph and Pulse Rifles

As far as I can tell, their attack dice don't seem to be based on strength as humans are, but again it's your table your rules.
If you don't want to lower HP, Armor would be the next likely tweak.
