Re: Errata for published game

Legends & Adventurers booklet (2nd printing): page 28 (“... theres was...“ table). The result 47-50 is missing.
So are results 17-20, 27-30, 57-60.

That's because these numbers cannot be rolled with a 2d6 roll.

Re: Why is Merigall an it and not a they?

That is not what the translator said. They said that Merigall is closer to a force of nature. A manifestation of certain aspects. A thunderstorm is an it. A tidal wave is an it. Merigall is an it. This is what the translator said: It was a demon, a wicked thing, a manifestation of trickery and dece...

Re: Why is Merigall an it and not a they?

Ok let me see if I understand the reasoning. Merigall is not human. Merigall is a demon. This is the reason Merigall gets the pronoun "it". This raises a few issues, even in the original text before translation: Shouldn't all demons, including Krasylla have "it" as pronouns? Grel...

Re: Why is Merigall an it and not a they?

Krasylla is given he as a pronoun.

Grammatically speaking, they can be both singular and plural. In this context, it's referring to a particular person (or demon). And even if Merigall is not one single person, they would still sound more apt than it.

Why is Merigall an it and not a they?

It is just grammatically odd. Whereas they/them is the most common nonbinary pronoun.

Perhaps this issue can be revisited in any subsequent reprint or pdf updates.

Re: Regarding Skill checks and also Healing

To stop a PC from dying (because the critical injury is lethal) is a separate skill roll than the skill roll to make them recover from being broken. The rules state that a skill roll can only be made once per situation and that you can only make another skill roll if the circumstances changes. It a...

Does Mend Wounds work on horror critical injuries?

I would say no, but the rules doesn't seem to explicitly forbid it either. From the player's handbook on page 124: "You can use magic to heal broken bones and bleeding wounds. This spell immediately heals a critical injury." So does it work against the list of horror critical injuries on p...

Re: Anyone tried nerfing Lucky 3?

Nope, if you're helpless, they just outright kill you if they choose to.
And how would you square this with that's written on page 7 of the GM's Guide?

"As GM, you should basically never kill a defenseless player character."

Re: Anyone tried nerfing Lucky 3?

Want to clarify something with you guys. Luck 3 does not prevent a monster from killing the PC or a humanoid villain from dealing them a coup de grace, am I right?
