In our experience so far it's very easy to get Broken in combat, and then it's just a random roll on the lethality table with about a 12% of a crippling permanent injury or death (on the slash table for example).

My group is new to games that are as lethal as Forbidden Lands - it's very easy to die in combat (you're broken and then roll badly on the table). What things can player's do to manage this lethally? 1. Avoid combat 2. Armor and Helment 3. Avoid combat 4. Ranged w/ Cover 5. Saving Actions for parry,...

It seems like travelling all day (Hiking for 3 Quarters), even riding on horseback, should have some sort of endurance hit aside. Is there some rule or house rule I can invoke for this?

Who would they worship primarily, and how would they see them? I'm sure they'd have one of the existing gods but a special way of viewing them like everyone else.

My understanding of the rules is that you should only roll when there is a chance of failure (no skill, time pressure) an interesting outcome for failure This is because Players get WP from being injured by pushing failed rolls (so rolling all the time like in a non-year-zero game would generate lot...

Once Stanegist is in play isn't the best option for the players to do nothing and let one of the NPC's get it? If the Orcs get it, they'd fight the demon/demon allies - they certainly would be better than the rule of the Rust Brothers. Most of the bad guys are demon tainted so if they get the crown ...

My players like making friends w/ NPCs and bringing them along. How do you handle this? Just let one of the players run the NPC w/ their slim monster stats?

What is a Lair? Is that some sort of site? 

What are the journey and weather cars?

When do encounters happen? On failure of Lead the Way? Move into new hex?
