No problem, it’s nice to share experience. I also made the travel a lot longer than one single day, to make it believable the Sisters couldn’t run away by road, and the fishermen were really hostile to them and wouldn’t rent them boats. But your solution is good too. The villagers I developed most w...
If your problem is: “why don’t they simply run far away from there?” my answer was: “it’s far from everything and they can’t get far enough within a day. They know it’s dangerous at night, so they’re stuck”. If you wonder why Olga gets out at night, I played it like that: she didn’t get out at night...
If you like, Occultist=Illusionist who likes to spook people. If your player wants to have "real" powers, there are Talents for that. :) I created a GMPC of a Medium, I used the Academics archetype instead of Occultist, and 1st Talent she could get from other archetypes, she took Medium. I think it ...

My players know that in dire situations, they can always use their pride (if applicable, but they have a large range of possible situations).
Another question about Oscar: In The Vaesen book by Egerkrans it says that "gast" (ghoul in the english version? I use the Swedish version) is the spirit of an evil person (contrasted with the other types of ghost vaesen). But there isnt really any indication of Oscar being an evil person right? I ...
I don't suppose you have a 19th century map for Newcastle-Upon-Tyne do you? There are plenty of old folk tales and mysteries surrounding the city from that era and earlier that could be turned into a Vaesen mystery. I don’t. But I have a 18th century one, if you want. You can find it here: https://...
