Have anyone else read the second part of the Mercy of the Icon?
Any thoughts?
Personally I have mixed feelings about the ending... kind of a huge change of the setting, at least for me and my future plans or the plans I had haha.
I think that comparing a rilfe to a carbine is a bit off too.
If you compare the vulan and acc carbines there isnt much of a difference. And as you said, armour piercing is a huge disadvantage for acc-weapons when fighting enemies that dont have armours.

Dont you miss the explosive effect? A cluster granade has explosive effect 6, dam 2 and crit 1. I roll for my ranged combat as normal and get one 6, i hit with the granade.
