Re: How do you learn magic on your own?

There is also the question of how did the character learn magic in then first place? I would strongly assume that he have learned his craft with a master. In RAW you have someone to teach you when you whish to learn new magic so I suppose it have to be the same at the beginning. Perhaps some player...

Re: Stunts?

I'd also like to see a definitive answer on this. I think there has to be some benefit to generating surplus successes for normal (non-combat) skill rolls. If nothing else, it will provide a bit more incentive for 'high level' characters to push. Also, aritifact dice and pride dice have multiple ⚔️...

Re: Damage and recovery

That's a fair point. Coriolis (I know, here I go again ;)) has hit points (=Strength + Agility) rather than depleting the attributes themselves, so it takes (a little) longer to wear someone down.  To my mind though, if a typical PC (and thus NPC) is going to have a strength of 3 then they're likel...

Feint

Is there any defence against a Feint action, as it seems quite powerful to be able to swap initiative slots, especially if the character in question goes late in the round and then swaps with an enemy that goes first the next round?

Re: Stunts?

No worries! The rest of the English Alpha should be done and shared with you before the end of the coming week. Can you confirm if stunts actually exist in FL, and if yes, do they work like in MY0? There aren't Stunts in the rules as they would be included in the Combat chapter. Sorry but I would l...

Re: Damage and recovery

I am in favour of characters being able to score critical injuries to end a fight, rather than having to wear each opponent down wth standard damage.

Re: Movement in Combat

Coriolis (and I know I keep citing it, becoming a bit of a Coriolis :ugeek:) allows you to use your defensive action to either parry (reduce opponent successes) or counter-attack and damage your opponent at the same time he hits you. Maybe that could be an option? Oh yes, I’d hope so. I LOVE that o...

Re: Missing oppotunities for scorcerers in the gerneral skills

Some kind of Cantrips would be cool. Protection from rain for the caster, Dry, Ignite, but nothing that can be used in combat to damage someone. Level 0 spells anyone? ;)
Sounds good
