Re: Weapon Talents Boring

I'd like to see something a little more like this. These are just random ideas I csme up with, but are an example. Sharpshooter – You must be wielding a bow or crossbow Level 1 – When you aim you add additional +1 bonus to your attack roll. Level 2 – You do not take penalties when shooting beyond ne...

Re: Weapon Talents Boring

The idea of combining is cool. Having up to three re rolls on crits seems a little redundant to me. Also the defender ability is super super good. Would almost certainly want to take that before shield fighter. Being able block mutliple enemies without giving up actions is huge. Also the pain thing ...

Re: Weapon Talents Boring

Yeah comboing powers would be really cool. Knife fighter gets extra damage against a downed enemy. Maybe he can fient as a fast action because he is wielding a weaker weapon. Maybe unarmed fighter can have a free shove attempt after a succesful attack. I also quite like onnce per day powers or just ...

Re: Weapon Talents Boring

Yes I knew it was an action :) , I was suggesting it could be a talent, just as an example of the kind of thing i'd like to see. I guess personally, oddly enough, I lean more towards actually locking things away behind talents. I like the idea of you getting more out of your talent beyond a plus one...

Re: Weapon Talents Boring

I just thinkmyou could do so much more with it. For instace the swimg weapon action gives a +1 damage with two handed weapons if you don't move. That to me feels like it could be a really cool talent. Its powerful enough.

Weapon Talents Boring

There are a number of weapon talents that all do the same thing. Add a dice per tier. Not only does this mean that there are loads of talents for essentially the same thing but it is very dull. I'd like to see talents diversify weapons even more. Maybe you unlock special stunts to be used with speci...

Re: Armour Talents

From playing a lot of Mutant year zero that willpower points are pretty available. You can relatively easily get them and horde them quite easily

Re: Armour Talents

Yes that would be perfect, you could restrict it to the figher. Also the fighter has a talent tree just for hidden combos which some people will not use so it would be nice if they got something else as well.

Re: Armour Talents

I get what you are saying, I agree a GM should always create opportunities for players to use abilities. But I certainly wouldnt make a main bad guy focus around ar our knowing it can be removed easily. But the main point is an ability readily available that removes something else so easily.

Re: Armour Talents

Spells might be powerful in comparison but they should have their own drawbacks to counter this. Instead of just letting an ability exist that can easily remove a whole aspect of the game from the game. Imagine if you stated into armour crafting, spent ages building the cool armour want and then and...
