Re: Firefly meets Arabian Nights

In the Swedish section of the forum, there's a google doc file that illustrates (text in Swedish, of course, but pictures are pictures) some variations in Arabic garb as relates to the game.

Re: Firefly meets Arabian Nights

One of the creators would be better suited to answering the connections to the game. There's also this article about the recent discovery of a "cavity" around a supernova.
One of my father-in-law's many geeky pursuits is astrophotography; he has an enviable telescope array that captures numerous deep space phenomena. And he's recently been watching this one.

Well, meet The Tariqa , then... She isn't armed to the teeth.  ;) Thanks. I must have missed that one. (A dear friend of mine in Sarajevo is named Tariq, and is a Sufi.) With Al Hawwa', the Engineer and/or Doctor from the support pack, the Saladin (love the sword detailing), & Hassassin Fiday makes...

The setting is very different, but I can see some of the art, miniatures, subfactions, subplots, ideas and so on being more or less transfe...

Re: Mystics

They have a rather wide range of talents, from premonition-related talents to influencing another's actions to telepathy and telekinesis and more. But yeah, a mystic starts with just one such talent (and they're rather narrow in their application), so more Lovecraft scholar than D&D Wizard (even in...

Re: skills question

Is that a bit like the "daddies" from "When Gravity Fails"?
I am not familiar with "daddies" :)
Basically software chips with pre-programmed info that can be used with neural implants.
