Re: Is Twilight 2K 4th edition still being supported?

Or an adventure/module set in the UK, which in alternate AD 2000 has succumbed to anarchy.

Re: Hostile water soon to be released?

Already pre-ordered along with my free "The Black Madonna". PDFs of both are pretty nice.

Re: Foot movement clarification

From the web: "Most non-elite adult runners can sprint 100m somewhere between 12-20 seconds". This is equivalent to saying that most non-elite adult runners can sprint 50m in 6-10 seconds. Given that all characters can run 40 in 5-10 seconds, which is pretty darn close to the speed of a no...

Re: Units in the same combat hex

You could also have them help each other with CUF rolls for a +1 (but I think this would be a house rule more than official)

Re: Scavenging Vehicle Parts

The rules on scrounging (shouldn't that be scavenging anyway?) are pretty "gamey". They remind me of the computer game "Mad Max" in which you could pick up any old bit of scrap and it would add to your accumulated scrap points, which you could then spend to create an upgrade to y...

Re: Battle Maps and Elevations

@paladin2019 - I do take your point. I think for things like ASL, seeing the ground is good enough as we are talking about height differences that are way more than the height of a man. If you want to go down the route of taking into account posture differences in Twilight 2000 LOS calculations then...

Re: Battle Maps and Elevations

More importantly, without context as to the definition of "height," the formula becomes less valuable. How does the GM translate their conception of the battlefield to the players? How tall is an obstacle? Or a building? Typically in wargames 1 level is about the height of a single-story ...

Re: Battle Maps and Elevations

Your formula needs to be H*X. As written, only 2.4 hexes are masked. I was trying to imply HxX but put a dot to avoid confusion with the X variable. A dot can also mean multiply but think it should be higher (same level as crossbar in "H"). Apologies for any confusion. [EDIT] Fixed (used ...

Re: Battle Maps and Elevations

If you want to work with elevations here's a really elegant LOS method for when an intervening hex blocks LOS between a higher hex and a lower hex. B = (H · X) / D B is Blocked Hexes H is Height of obstacle hex X is Distance in hexes from obstacle to higher hex D is Height difference (height of high...
