Re: Military unit travel speeds

To me it makes sense that Operation Reset units are moving mainly on foot. GIven how specific the lore is about military stuff, they have surely thought of this. It is somewhat confusing that 5th's orders are to march 48 hrs without sleep just before battle, or that 2nd has ended up behind enemy lin...

Re: Rule question: Fire at prone character

I.e. if target was prone and facing an attacker shooting at him from a few hexes away the target area would be quite smaller than if he was standing up.
RAW do not have facing for persons, excluding cover. You'd need new rules for this and I don't think it's worth it.

Re: The number of nukes used in Poland

Does someone have the expertise (or resource) to speculate how much damage a "tactical" nuclear strike actually does in combat? And what would be the main effects regarding radiation? What about the size and shape of craters?

The number of nukes used in Poland

Has anyone tried to figure out or - even better - list or map the nuclear strikes in Poland? While some locations are mentioned in the official lore, it is quite vague. Currently it is difficult to understand how many cities have been hit or how likely is it to encounter a nuke strike crater.

Some interesting numbers from the data: Average age: 33,2 Highest age: 57 Lowest age: 20 Average skill points spent: 11,6 Most skill points spent: 21 Fewest skill points spent: 7 Average specializations: 4,8 Most specializations: 10 Fewest specializations: 2 If all the skills and specializations wer...

Re: One Thousand Lifepath Characters

Quoting myself:
"one of the PCs in a group rolls 2D3 = 6 and another 2D6=2 for stats. It's quite a lot of XP to gain!"

I only now noticed that stats cannot be increased via xp at all. That's actually good, I think.

Re: One Thousand Lifepath Characters

Thanks for the odt files. Seems that the average age is 33,2 years with highest being 57 and lowest 20. Quite wild differences in stats too. E.g., you have a 35-year-old Swedish Combat Arms Officer with B/B/A/A/A(CUF) stats and a 36-year-old American Conscript with D/D/D/C/D with similar number of &...
