Re: Any updates on Hostile Waters/Black Madonna release?

Hello Free League team... I received notification today that a shipment was being sent to me regarding Black Madonna. However, the price stated $438. What is this cost? Thank you. That's most likely the price in SEK, not USD. I got the same email (and my box a couple of days ago. It is very nice.)

Re: Encounter Cards for OPFOR Characters

No, there isn't another deck. Use the same deck and consider how the characters can interact with the encounter. Are the Russians in the encounter still on your side? Are they bandits harassing everyone? Should they be turned into NATO/Polish/Swedish troops?

Re: Dungeons & Dragons conversion question.

Going by the example of the game's cousin, RuneQuest, apply the effects of enchant weapon for "basic" magic weapons. Use higher power levels when adapting bigger bonuses.

Re: Question about water rations

As said, a weight of 2 is a significant outlier. Even a 4 quart waterskin should not be significantly more difficult to carry than a down sleeping bag sleeping fur. Subsuming water into ratios is a far more reasonable approach unless your game takes place in a water-poor area where tracking water se...

RE: Webbed Feet. There is a reason it doesn't cost anything and ducks mallards get a second ability that does have a cost.

All of that ^. If you bought print + pdf, don't cheat yourself out of your pdf. Bits and Mortar participation absolutely influences my purchasing decisions.

Castle... is not part of the boxed set and the campaign in the boxed set is not part of the core book.

Re: Parrying, rolling a dragon, weapon damaged, what about the counterattack?

It's very simple. If you roll a dragon, your opponent immediately takes a damage roll from your weapon. You can narrate this however you wish, but the rule that parrying breaks the initiative order and the "immediately" part of the phrasing on rolling a dragon leads me to the conclusion th...

Re: Improvised Weapon/Treasure Table on PDF?

I'm not sure which pdf you have, but they are in the rulebook pdf (the one for the hardback edition of the rules, not the boxed set). If you have the latter then very simply, each environ has a d6 roll for the specific improvised weapon present. The treasures are divied up on two d20 tables with low...
