Top of page 19 of the Alpha Player's Guide. Important note, however, that is a very approximate measure. A loaded M16A2 is 4 kg even and it's listed at 1 ENC. We can still derive game stats from real data but can also fudge for playability.

It has a capacity of 18.9L. 1L ≈ 1kg. 1ENC ≈ 3kg. Doing a little math nets a capacity of a little over 6 ENC, add the weight of the can, gives a nominal 7 ENC for a can full of water.

So it's a derived value to game standards converted from real world measures.

Uhh, a water ration is 1 G/day, or both an American GI's 1 qt canteens plus the 2 quart canteen on their ALICE pack. However, 1 ENC ≈ 3 kg, so at half an ENC, a water ration is defined as ~1.5 L. A+ with this system is d12 plus another d6 added to the pool. A++ would be d12 and d8, etc.

Given the game uses encumbrance and not real weights, it should be negligible or 1/4 at most.

But the skill hasn't been reduced to F, penalties have just reduced the die to [null]. You are still skilled.

The basic rules only as used in Aliens and Dracula and Living Steel are much more playable. I've never gotten around to running Terminator.
