FL's Fuel Capacity and Fuel Consumption Formulae?

I'm trying to figure out how FL determined fuel capacity and fuel consumption for their vehicles. I've tried comparing a few vehicles in the Players Manual to their real-world versions but, every time I think I have the ratios figured out, when I double check with a different FL vehicle and its RL v...

Alternate Background for Sweden-based Campaign

What follows is an addendum to v1 canon (to bring Sweden into the war on behalf of NATO), for the niche crowd that would like to campaign in Sweden, but prefer the v1 timeline. For the sake of edition synergy, I used a bit of the 4e background- namely the primary Soviet units involved in the invasio...

Re: Swedish AFVs of Warsaw Pact Provenance

Actually, I'm more sad that things like the Ikv 91 and the like weren't included. I mean, the Ikv 91 was being taken out of service around 1990-2000, but some would still have been in service (and likely been reactivated if war broke out). I agree. I hope that FL produces an illustrated Vehicle and...

Vehicle and Weapon Guide, Please

Dear Free League, I would definitely purchase an illustrated guide to 4e vehicles and weapons. I'm certain that I am not alone in this. You wouldn't have to start from scratch. You could use all of the vehicle and weapon stat blocks and illustrations that've already been published, and add some new ...

Re: Hostile Waters Beta Feedback

On p. 34, under the encounter Ship Cemetary, Reads: "None of the old rusting ships here work except the pirates’ speedboat (with half a tank of alcohol fuel) and are beyond repair, but D6 of them can be scavenged for boat spare parts." It's not quite a double-negative, but if you remove th...

Re: Hostile Waters Beta Feedback

Hostile Waters is packed with great material, but I think that purchasers would be even happier with it if it were to include a couple relevant new archetypes, like Urban Ops did. Perhaps something like Navy Seaman and Merchant Mariner?

Also, hovercraft, please. Thank you.

Swedish AFVs of Warsaw Pact Provenance

There are a few AFVs that probably would have been in Swedish service during the 4e Twilight War that, for whatever reasons (probably space and equity) weren't included in the Players Manual or subsequent official supplements. I won't bore you by listing them all here, but the Tank Encyclopedia webs...

Re: Hostile Waters Beta Feedback

On page 32, "bodies massed along a beach being picked by birds and crabs."

Should read, "picked at by birds and crabs."

Re: Hostile Waters Beta Feedback

On p. 17 in the Naval Warfare chapter,

"... the River Queen is breached and she starts to take in water!"

The correct nautical term is "take on water".
