We only got a TPK once, but we survived a lot of fights by pure stupid luck. I've lost track of how many times we Hail-Mary'd a missile into an APC with less than a 10% chance and hit or made ridiculous low rolls to spot ambushes.

We've been playing with Lego figures and vehicles recently. It makes tank battles kind of impractical but it's nice for ambushes and traffic stops, run-ins in the woods when you're trying to skirt around a town.
