Re: Shift/Conditions Tracker

Like, you just want a static sheet broken into areas to put tokens, which you could import as an image or pdf?

Re: Shift/Conditions Tracker

Well, I checked, and it definitely stopped working at some point along the way. If you feel like hacking around in it would do you any good, here you go: https://we.tl/t-FPMxGZTqk1 (link will expire in 1-2 weeks) Keep in mind this was never much more than a surface level hack of the Forbidden Lands ...

Re: Shift/Conditions Tracker

I made one for Foundry, hacked from the Forbidden Lands one. I'll see if it still works and share if so.

(it's not super polished and I rarely used it in actual practice, so ymmv)

Re: Animal Consumption/ Upkeep Requirements ...in particular Horse

That hits on another aspect (which I went into a bit of detail in in my book) -- if you're sitting on a little plot of farmland, it's only worth as much as you can hold on to. In a land overrun with military units and bandits, that's not much. So it makes collective defense the only viable recourse....

Re: Battery drain

I think that's a good idea as long as you can reliably tie the battery usage into some other skill roll, without overusing those. I agree that eliminating needless dice rolls is generally a good thing (and something this system does well!) But, like, I wouldn't generally require a skill check to mak...

Re: How to start a campang

I'd start by doing a solid session 0 where you explain the basics of the world, answer questions about it, and then ask the players what they find the most interesting about it. Then you have some homework to do to learn/invent enough about the world to flesh out those aspects of it. The traditional...

Re: Maximum Vision

It takes into account your elevation, the distance and the height obscured by the horizon. So if you are using binoculars at 6 foot, you can see the top of that 100 foot high clock tower, 15 miles away. This accounts for the geometry of it you can see it, but that's it. Those had better be some dam...

Re: Battery drain

After several years without NEW batteries or without a reliable electricity network, many batteries are going to be showing major signs of wear. You're not very likely to get that 15 minutes of drone flying time if it's been used often. That said, I think I'd use usage dice for this, a slightly diff...

Re: Animal Consumption/ Upkeep Requirements ...in particular Horse

Some relevant reading within here (actually all of it is pretty relevant to a T2K campaign and if I was revisiting mine today I'd incorporate a lot more ideas from here!) https://acoup.blog/2022/07/15/collections-logistics-how-did-they-do-it-part-i-the-problem/ In particular: the sort of horses avai...

Re: Question about Foliage vs Forest hexes.

There are certainly smaller trees, bushes, ground clutter, etc in Poland -- ie, "foliage." Especially along river banks and so on. But when you talk about "forest" it mostly tends to be these stick parades that grow tall and leafy/needley, but don't offer much at ground level. Li...
