Bear in mind there are no skill checks in 5e. Only ability checks, to which the proficiency bonus might apply if you're proficient in a relevant skill. Or to say it another way, there is no Stealth roll, there is a Dexterity (Stealth) ability check or a Dexterity (Sleight of Hand) ability check.

Both seasoned and veteran are levels of experience on the next page so maybe

The Adventure Compendium features many new and unique challenges, which come with complete stat blocks. Some adventures do feature 'common' foes in some scenes and you would use the Bestiary for their stats.

As predicted during the Kickstarter, the adventure PDFs required extra time and are in progress (beta PDFs soonish, print very dependent on the vagaries of international supplies, printing and shipping).
