Re: Barzan journey

Slowly but surely the boat is moving. Now it's at Singapore. Still a long way to go.

Barzan journey

I pledged only for the PDF version of TOR 2e, not for the paper books. Why ? Because as french playing in french, I will buy the french version of paper books when they are translated. I got the PDFs and I have read them, all is fine. Therefore I shouldn't be interested in the paper books delivery. ...

Re: Ranged weapons : no distances in yards

Thanks @asgo for this interesting answer. In fact for my own game, i don't need and use those distances in TOR 1st edition and I don't intend to use them in 2nd edition. I'm very fine wiht the abstract way which I use as loremaster. I was asking the question because I'm in the team that work for the...

Ranged weapons : no distances in yards

In 1st edition, there is a table giving distances in yards for short, medium and long ranges of ranged weapons.
In 2nd edition, I don't find this. Is it an oversight (that we could correct by taking the distances table from 1e) or is it deliberate ?
Thanks

Re: Fun Speculation only

You're wrong, the starter set will be based on plastic tokens that we move on a spiral path representing a journey through the Shire. No character sheet, you roll a 6-sides dice and move your token the number of cases you got from the dice. Some cases are traps, some are happy events. You win when y...

Re: Conversion tool of players characters from 1e to 2e

On the TOR/AiME discord, we had someone contribute a rough set of 1e culture conversion rules on the day the alpha came out. You can find it here: https://discord.com/channels/348254014598545408/649618673547345930/859433563517353995 They're only intended as a stopgap until FL gives us conversion ru...

Conversion tool of players characters from 1e to 2e

Hello, I plan to move from 1st to 2nd edition for my current campaign. The players of my group already have their characters who already have quite some experience (they finished Tales from wilderland, finished 3 scenarios from Darkening of Mirkwood and several fan-made scenario) and right now thay ...

Re: Character Sheet please

Oh you're right, I didn't see the Endurance / Hope boxes near Strength and Heart. Thanks ! On my side, I don't mind having the max values far from the current value, I see that as 1 part about atributes that don't change and another part about attributes that can change anytime. Concerning fatigue, ...
