The tale makes me wonder about the nature of the swamp-fairy. Is it a nature spirit? Perhaps a minor Ainu who came to inhabit the swamp long ago?

With the book going to print, is there any news when the KS group will see the PDF updated?

Hoping for Misty Mountains.

Probably not for a while, at least. I think the Misty Mountains have been covered pretty thoroughly in TOR 1E and in the upcoming Moria expansion.

Reasons to visit Rivendell:
- Safety
- Healing
- Resupply
- Research
- Consulting with a Patron (most likely Elrond)
- Advice (again, most likely Elrond)
- Hey! It's Rivendell!

Interesting! I was developing a home-brewed guide to East Rhovanion (and Dorwinion) back before Cubicle 7 lost the licence for TOR. I was concentrating more, though, on the plains east of Mirkwood.
