If you want a campaign where Xenomorphs are easier to kill I would reduce their health by 2 and only allow their armor to protect them from certain weapons. Xenomorph armor shouldnt reduce the damage from bullets because bullets have never had any problems piercing the carapaces of lesser xenomorphs...

Each storyline is pretty decent, although they suffer from the slightly monotonous missions... And characters cannot use gear unless they're certified. Being in military mostly means going on monotonous missions. Working as intended. Also the purpose for the certifications was to help differentiate...

There isnt a limit to number of talents. If you run a longer term campaign I recommend making additional talents cost more Otherwise it gets too easy for players to collect all the good talents. You could write down events on cards then shuffle them and draw 1 card each turn for timed events

You could also place 1 card face down in each room and that event triggers when you enter the room

Gotta admit solo play sounds boring though
