Re: Starter set vs full rules

Although I haven't been comparing both books side to side, I'd say that regarding rules for playing, the Starter Rules have ALL rules from the Core Book. The full Blade Runner rules are so simple, that shortening or simplifying them is unnecessary. As said, you would lack character creation and prog...

Re: "There and Back Again", a minimalistic RPG by Ray Otus

What does this have to do with the topic at hand? Well, the original "There And Back Again" game by Ray Otus is loosely set in the first version of The Hobbit, even before it was thought as part of Middle-earth and some inconsistencies with The Lord of the Rings were amended (Riddle's in ...

Re: "There and Back Again", a minimalistic RPG by Ray Otus

So I groaned inwardly when I read that you had expanded on Ray Otus's work. Then I read it carefully and with thoughts to how the original would play. I took out some TOR adventures and began reading them again with thoughts of your version. I have to say: Your version is Excellent! And now that I ...

Re: The One Ring 2e in Spanish

Devir is still publishing the books in spanish and is comitted to do so with all supplements. Only that, of course, it takes an extra time to translate, edit, do the new layout, proofreading again, etc. And all that process can only be done once the english book has been published. The Rivendell and...

Re: Davokar Awakens Beta Feedback

Not really an error on the book, but the mail for preorder says: "The pre-order also includes an exclusive digital artbook with artworks by the amazing artists Gustaf Ekelund and Martin Grip." The voucher for Drivethru only includes the PDF for Davokar Awakens. Will the Artbook be released...

Alchemy RPG VTT support for Symbaroum?

I'm really interested in the new VTT Alchemy, and I see Fria Ligan is absolutely involved in it. But while there's Ruins of Symbaroum implemented, I haven't seen any news about the original Symbaroum getting a port there. Does anyone know if there's been any news or comments about that? Having most ...

Re: "There and Back Again", a minimalistic RPG by Ray Otus

Thanks a lot, Byrax! Do you happen to have a link to that other hack that mixes T&BA with TOR? Recently, a colleague in one of the spanish forums for TOR did a nicer layout for our version. Just sharing it here out of curiosity: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UBdYnlfQGVLNh73JxVznNKzv0sOEKLJ3/v...

Re: "There and Back Again", a minimalistic RPG by Ray Otus

Thanks to both for taking the time to read it through! I used it to GM a long adventure, with very diverse situations (combat, social, journeys, investigations....) and it really gave me what I needed without any of the fuss and hard mechanics of other rpgs. @artkid The R is an oversight from me! It...

Re: "There and Back Again", a minimalistic RPG by Ray Otus

I'll check your rules out when I can. ( It may be a bit) Thanks a lot for the interest! I've GMed a few adventures with them to long time TOR players and we've enjoyed them a lot. Not losing much from what makes TOR special and "tolkienesque", but also simplifying a lot the need to check ...

Re: For those who have ordered Symaroum

There's a Swedish and an English version of the books, both published by Free League.
But you should be fine if the shop page is the english one.
