Re: We finally got the TOR band back together!

I haven't yet. I'm not even sure how to look for an online group. What's the best way to go about that?

Re: We finally got the TOR band back together!

UPDATE: Well, it's been 10 months and the band hasn't gotten back together again after our first session. Life has been so busy and "stuff" has just been in the way. It looks like I'll need to get a new set of players. Everyone has moved on in life to other pursuits, or literally moved awa...

Re: MORIA news

Got the Alpha PDF and looked it over very quickly. It looks amazing! Filled with wonderful, fantastic details and lore to really make an amazing dungeon crawl campaign. The solo section is robust too. Wow, wow, wow!

Pledged. Can't wait to see what Gareth and the team came up with. I wonder how many pages the book will be?

We finally got the TOR band back together!

Tonight, it was so wonderful to get a few of my guys back together after so long. We played the first adventure in the Starter Set "A Conspiracy Most Cracked" and had a blast! When trying to get into the Mathom-House unnoticed, Esmeralda ended up falling off the roof and being caught by th...

Re: Any word on Ruins of the Lost Realm?

Re: 2nd printing, errata cleaned up

Just watched the update video from 3/31/22. Thomas did indeed mention that TOR 2e is already re-printing. I had the same question: Does the second printing include errata?

Re: How will you sort the problem with Councils?

The downside to Tolerance is that it means the best move for a player without a strong Skill is to not play, to let others with higher Skills just make every roll because a failure has such negative consequences for everyone. That is still somewhat true in RAW, where a party is better off letting o...

Re: Combat question?

If someone was in rearward stance and different combats entered the fray from behind how would that work? The answer to your question is determined by either the new number of adversaries vs player-heroes or the unique circumstances of the battlefield. Both of these situations are addressed in the ...

Re: Game time and Skill- and Adventure Points

If you followed the alternate guidelines, player-heroes would indeed gain 9 Skill points and 9 Adventure points. But, they would only gain bonus Skill points equal to WITS if you ended with a Yule Fellowship Phase.
