Re: Converting Tomb of a Serpent King to FL

I have actually just converted this myself, most things like treasure and traps I have just scribbled on the printed paper to change it so it wouldn't be any good to share with you. I just eyeballed these things and compared them with the treasure and dungeon traps in the GM's guide and did my best....

Re: My Monster File

Thanks Andy, I'm converting a whole mega-dungeon so I'll be producing a lot in a short time frame  :D, feel free to comment any glaring issues you see.

Re: My Monster File

I found 5e stats for the centipede and used those. I've added it to the file, let me know what you think. My one concern is that they probably shouldn't have wits or empathy.

Re: Actually killin' someone

I think once someone is broken, any attack against them is a coup de grace, so rolling more crit injuries would not be neccesary. Just a single coup de grace attempt, if the character does not fail their empathy roll, they can't bring themselves to kill the individual and can't try again. It's not s...

Re: What axes can be used for wood gathering?

Yeh that's interesting. Saws aren't listed to be able to help you cut trees though either lmao, just for certain building projects. Seems like despite having this great innovation the people of the Forbidden Lands aren't too keen on using it  :D

Re: What axes can be used for wood gathering?

Depends on the purpose. For stronghold functions, they’ll want a saw or lumber axe. If they’re just trying to put some torches together or make a shelter I’d say a hand axe is good. Fighting axes aren’t made for that purpose and could be used but I’d say with risk of damaging the weapon. Yeah that'...

Re: What axes can be used for wood gathering?

My players want to do some woodcutting so they can build some functions, would you rule just a timber axe then?

What axes can be used for wood gathering?

Do you think all types of axes should be allowed for collecting wood? Or just the timber axe?

Re: My Monster File

I am also trying to convert a Giant Centipede from Labyrinth Lord and it says save as "0 level Human". I believe this means it has no modifiers to its save, just a flat d20 roll. I would assume this means that it has no Wits or Empathy in an FBL sense, but how about strength and agility? Using the c...
