Re: Skeleton and sword

Yeah, I'd also say the "max 1 point of damage" would only apply if the sword is being used to stab with.

Once that has been established around the gaming table, that's when you pull out the skeletons wearing chainmail! >D
I did this once. :D

Re: How do you kill an Enemy?

Yeah, I would like to stress that someone doesn’t have to be dead for a combat to end. Broken is enough and maybe not even that. One of the beauties of the system as written is how easily characters (player or otherwise) can be defeated but not necessarily killed which is great for stories.

Re: Managing Combat with "Broken" Combatants

Maybe give him some other orc fighters with similar talent banks to fight as well. There’s always someone better out there, he’s not unique.

Re: How do you kill an Enemy?

An npc depleted to zero in strength is broken and out of the fight. Whether that means dead, critically injured, unconscious, etc. is up to you as a GM or perhaps the players. What’s best for your story.

Re: Talents affecting attacks and the dice pool

Any modification on a skill check is done through skill dice. And if it’s a negative modification you can even end up with negative skill dice. If you’re attempting a -2 task but have zero skill dice you’d roll two skill dice and each 6 on those would take away a success.

Re: Falling off your horse

Thanks for the response. Are there specific rules in the player’s or GM books for falling off your horse and suffering damage? Nope. There are rules for falling but even that would have to be adapted to the circumstance. As this wouldn't be just falling off but being thrown or having your horse col...

If she’s lucky that’s all that happens. If she’s riding at speed you’re looking at almost certain damage.

The Dance of Dreams has been spread across Upsala.
Sound like many. :)
Yeah, so fliers about the show can be found all around Uppsala. I mean, I don’t imagine that means everywhere but probably in middle class type places.

Re: The Dance of Dreams

I may need to reread it but wasn’t that just posters advertising the show?
