Re: Forbidden Lands and "Arabian Nights"...at least sort of

This should be enough to describe the respective named areas a little bit, piece by piece. The Agrabian Mountains (Rough basic concept: The native mountains of barbarians in the style of Conan, Rastan and the like) This is where most of the silver mines were when the King of Alderland still ruled. E...

That sounds exactly like stuff, I am imagining, the Silverland should be. One part Arabian Nights, one part Conan and may be a slight dose of Dark Sun.

Re: Forbidden Lands and "Arabian Nights"...at least sort of

Ah, Conan should be an excellent source for this! There definitly have to be vast stretches of uncivilised areas full of Warlords, sorcerers and barbarian tribes! I also toying with including some egyptian influences - so, for example, the prophets grave could be a huge pyramid that ist still under ...

Forbidden Lands and "Arabian Nights"...at least sort of

Well, Folks – so far, the world of “Forbidden Lands” is more or less heavily inspired by the European middle ages, just as the Fantasy RPGs of old it emulates so splendidly. There are, however, a few things, I would not expect from Ad Astra, since I would think they would not quite fit into the overall setting of Mutant: - I would not expect any large interplanetary empires. Supposedly, the people living in outer space are "a fe...

Re: Mutant: Hindenburg and Ad Astra : English KS?

News about the upcoming Ad-Astra-Kickstarter would, indeed, be nice.

Re: Predator?

Super advanced tech doesn't fit with super-strong, super-fast, super resilient bodies that would be amazing hunters even without high-tech stuff. I somewhat doubt, super advanced tech and a super-strong physique would automaticly exclude each other. People becoming "soft" and "decadent" by beeing c...
