Re: Journey and sleeping

My players usually have this schedule (unless something has happen). Morning > Hiking, Exploring, etc. Day > Hiking, Exploring, etc. Evening > Building Camp. One player sleeps on the Bare Ground (p.156). Night > Sleep. The player who slept on the Bare Ground is Keeping Watch. If something happens d...

Re: Drowning

The rules state that you DO make a stamina check at the start of every turn while underwater/drowning and that a failed roll results in one point of damage, until broken, then death rolls. You cannot assume that everyone can hold their breath for the same amount of time either. Depending on the circ...

Do story points ignore panic rolls?

If someone rolls for a skill and fails, no 6s, and also rolls a 1 on a stress die, are they allowed to use a story point to gain the one automatic success? If so does it negate the effects of the stress roll? If not then I guess a player who rolled no successes(6 on the die) AND a 1 on a stress die ...

Re: Getting PDF copy after buying physical book at local game store

Free League is part of https://www.bits-and-mortar.com/ Not might help you now but keep that in mind on future purchases(if you have a local store that is part of the program).

Armor for explosion damage

Does armor apply for explosion damage? It doesn't say you cannot so I'm guessing it does.

Re: Facehugger combat questoin

It seems the consensus is that certain xeno special attacks result in the PC being grappled with the xeno. The PC now can only perform the "break free" action, which is an opposed close combat roll, but xenos do not have skills in the traditional sense so what is the GM rolling for?
