Re: Anyone started a character sheet for roll20?

I also set up a macro with a query as a token action which lets the players submit their initiative and then their tokens are automatically set in the turn tracker. It made my life easier, since I can add the opposition while they add their own tokens. Could you please post the macro for this, I'm ...

Re: Being prone

Have any of you house ruled that it is still possible to attack while prone? Or that ranged attacks suffer a negative modification for shooting at a prone target? a general talent of "prone fighter" might be your answer. I know there are some fighting styles where prone is not a disadvant...

Re: Started learning the system.. couple of questions :P

in combo with shield fighter talent it makes for some exceptional combat/defense rolls.  The way I've played it is you can use 2 weapons in a fight, and could attack with either and parry with either, but not both, until you had Ambidextrous. Since there isn't a distinction made for handedness it do...

Re: Questions about combat

2 against one you mean. If A (1) and B (2) are fighting C (3) then When it is A:s turn, A and C pick two cards each. C may have to use the Await card if he wants to have any action when it becomes B:s turn. When it is B:s turn and C have an action left, then C will have to play the Await card. So e...

Re: Equipment List PDF?

Since you're using it for your own non-commercial purposes there are password rippers that will remove the protection allowing you to get at the base tables and put them into something that allows you to rearrange or combine as needed. I believe Fria Ligan would also allow you to put it here for oth...

Re: Bind Magic living creature restriction

My understanding is that, as you stated, " it binds ability to cast the spell at some time in the future " - minus the risk associated to actually casting the spell at the moment you activate it. An item like the magic slippers you've described would is so powerful in the Forbidden Lands ...

Re: Increasing Talent Costs

You might also give them a highly cursed magic item (oh wait nearly all the artifacts have some bad side effects) You might also attack the stronghold when they are away, make it difficult to find trainers, require training on any new skill, make training cost more money in addition to the xp, Make ...

Re: Monsters too easy?

The way I think about WP use to that I consider any use of willpower as essentially changing reality to fit what the PCs are asking for. So this is what is being detected. The greater the change to more it pings to those sensitive to that. If you feel that a creature is more than just naturally agil...

Re: Feedback on Homebrewed Talents for Safer Casting

I'm sure these should not be general talents: These would be paths for casters not talents. --T alents are specifically created as general use with applicable to anyone. making it otherwise seems to me a way as only a desire to overpower casters.  They should take higher XP than a standard talent to...

Re: Multiple spells for grimoires?

I rarely use books as grimoires anymore. Books might contain spell research or some notes about the spell effects. Most mages develop their own way to record a spell. Tattoos, stones, bead work, scrimshaw, or some other personal and secretive manner to keep it from others. Books are for beginners.. ...
