Re: The Mists of Moorshire - Adventure site Village and Castle

Downloaded this a while ago and now I’ve got the time to read it and prepare the adventure. After a quick read through, I have to admit I’m impressed. A really suggestive feel to the site and fun, well thought out characters with a cool twist. Nice work!

Re: Journey and sleeping

I'm a little bit more generous, as I allow the first person to sleep to still benefit from the MAKE  CAMP roll, on the basis that their sleeping area is prepared first. That was how I was thinking of doing it as well, unless everyone in the party decides to sleep on bare ground.  I’ve also allowed ...

Re: Kin talent adaptive

That's not how Adaptive works. Adaptive lets you roll for any skill when you are doing a task (if you are able to motivate it). Pushing is part of the skill roll. A skill roll is not done until you have pushed (if you can and want to) and used Pride (if you can and want to). If you want to use Adap...

Kin talent adaptive

Hi forum dwellers. I was curious as to how you rule on the adaptive talent. Let’s say a PC begins to roll for a skill and doesn’t succed as well as she hoped for, would you allow for her to use the talent for the reroll/puch? Let’s say the first skill roll was MANIPULATION for 5 dice (no success and...

Re: Rust Brothers take on Wyrm

I'm sorry to say I haven't got much about their practices or seats of power, other than what's in the book. In my campaign, they're pretty common and most villages have some kind of shrine or other place devoted to the everyday ceremony to please the god. The priests are quite altruistic, compared t...

Re: Puzzles

Thank you! Nice riddles. Some of them might be a bit hard to translate but enough of them to keep me going for quite a while. Does anyone else have any suggestion to a physical puzzle, perhaps an adventure site that revolves around some investigation/puzzle solving without being the typical old scho...

Puzzles

Hi! So, I want to include a bigger variety of obstacles for my players. The style of the game, keeping it low prep, makes it a bit difficult to present different problems to my players. The easiest, least prepping sessions involve more combat than I'd like and I want to change that. Encounters that ...

Re: Observatory in Amber's Peak

Well, it took me some time to get around to read this but I agree, the observatory seems to be missing. Also, the descriptions seems to have som problem regarding compass directions. In "A", it states the wall in the south part of the room has fallen down but the south west part of the room is still...

Re: Picking a Location and a Legend

Yes, I would actually advice to read through the random encounters in the game masters guide and pick one that sounds interesting. Prepare that one and throw it in before reaching their destination.
