Re: I've already got AiME, sell me on LOTR 5e?

Maybe this is something that Jacob Rodgers (if only there was a way to tag forum users!) could chime in on, if he's willing/able? I'm assuming he was involved, as he was brought in for Ruins of Symbaroum after his work with Adventures in Middle-earth.

Re: I've already got AiME, sell me on LOTR 5e?

Does LotR 5E Playtest have custom classes for the setting or it uses standard DnD classes? I'm just wondering before pre-ordering. This is an OGL product, and not a regular D&D compatible product. Like Ruins of Symbaroum, or in this specific case, Adventures in Middle-earth which uses the core ...

Re: DnD Beyond

Until D&DBeyond opens up to include 3rd party content, which they haven't yet (though I think there was some talk about working something out with DM's Guild, but not DriveThruRPG) then this won't be on D&D Beyond. It likely won't feature on Demiplane either, who Free League have an agreemen...

Re: Access to PDFs

Free League send out the DriveThruRPG codes in batches manually - there is not automated transactional process for them unfortunately.

I've already got AiME, sell me on LOTR 5e?

Hello Free League,

Please share what are the selling points/offerings of this version of Middle-earth in 5e. I've already got AiME from the other publisher. Other than in support of my favourite publisher and key art (found in TOR anyway).

Re: Resources

If you haven't already, also join the Year Zero Worlds discord, there's lots of resources posted there for all YZE games and specifically for Loop/Flood too.

Re: Any plans for the Electric State and The Labyrinth?

You could so some snapshots of events from Loop, Flood Electric State, and finally Labyrinth in an over-arching story where the world changes but people find ways to carry on. I wouldn't put the fate of the world/progression of things in the hands of the players though. 80s - Loop tech, players are ...

Re: Any plans for the Electric State and The Labyrinth?

Well with Labyrinth, as the setting that the surface is so toxic and everyone lives underground you could mix Mutant Year Zero Elysium with Things From The Flood to sort of get there? The strength of Labyrinth, besides the art, is the personal story being told.

Re: Tyrell and Wallace Inner Circles

Well, "dix huit" is French for 18, but it also sounds like dick suit when reading it in English. I have no useful information for you other than the image of Jared Leto surrounding himself with 18 dick suits. Enjoy.
