Re: How many dice needed?

I have several sets. I think twenty dice of either type? I let the players hold the stress dice to keep track of stress, but it's not really enough to do that... Buy a bunch, then buy more if need them! In a pinch, or if you just prefer smaller dice, Warhammer dice work pretty well for stress dice. ...

Re: Can you push Dodge and Parry?

Ok, if there is nothing official, I'm hoping for an answer on this! The rules seem clear to me that they are not something you can push, but I don't know if that's the intent, and I'm kind of guessing not. I can't buy into "you're using an action", because that could be said of any number ...

Can you push Dodge and Parry?

Easy question, can you push the Dodge and Parry actions? pg. 40 under Opposed Rolls: "Only you (the attacker) can push your roll." This seems decisive, but at the same time, it's not mentioned anywhere in the Dodge/Parry rules, or anywhere in the combat section that I see. I've also talked...

Re: Ravens Purge Campaign Map - first draft - thoughts?

Fun to see written up. The thread on where everything should be is hard to read with all the codes... Grindbone mentions that it's "west of the woods", and that the Bone Ferrets employ Wolfkin from the Fangwood. I like it being just east of the Blaudwater lake. I haven't looked at everythi...

Hah, totally derailed. Surname here too, but first name since the Civil War as well... Meaning Sheep Shearer, or, Shear Man, if we're being thorough.

Re: Importance of 300 years of Blood Mist?

Sherman, male name, for the general from the American Civil War originally, and more notably for Europeans, the tanks that can undoubtedly be found in various states of decay everywhere since WWII.  Yes, I was thinking about how slow the process to even want to "test" things would be. I me...

Re: Importance of 300 years of Blood Mist?

It's three hundred years of not being able to travel further than you can return from in one day. This is not the same thing as totally walled into your town. That means that communication was entirely possible between villages, and ultimately across the length of the land. Additionally, there is a ...

Re: Experience question : Did you perform an extraordinary action of some kind?

I haven't run a ton of sessions, but I haven't yet awarded it. I feel like extraordinary is on top of being an adventurer. Killing monsters, looting tombs, uncovering conspiracies is all part and parcel for an adventurer. I'm looking for something that the people of the land will be talking about fo...
