Re: Errata for published game

I think that's because the pdf to the gm screen itself was never updated. We did ask for an updated version a while back, but no reply. Hence, the devs for the Foundry version must've been using an outdated version of the gm screen.

Re: Roll20 vs Foundry modules

Bought the modules for foundry, but they are not setup correctly, maps are not correctly sized and notes are not linked into maps. Alot of work need s to be done to the modules to get them up and running in foundry.
Bummer, that's unfortunate.

Roll20 vs Foundry modules

Price aside, for those who have tried the ALIEN modules on both platforms, of the two, which would you recommend? Thanks.

Re: Anyone tried nerfing Lucky 3?

L3 : you choose the numbers freely Bold emphasis is mine. That's L2. So L3 has to be better than that. No it doesn't. It just has to add to it. If you then allow the player to move the result 1 step up or down the table from where ever it lands you give the player a choice of 3 different results. T...

Re: Anyone tried nerfing Lucky 3?

I quite like the idea that at L3 you roll for crit twice, choose which one you want and can then reverse the roll using L2
Isn't that L2?

Or...

Flip the numbers around like Lucky 2 if you wish, and pick any of the injuries in the three rows above (or one to two rows only if you wish for some lethality to remain).

For even more flexibility, you can spend a number of WP equal to each row thereafter.

Re: How to cope with overpowered PCs?

How about.... Lucky only works for the first crit injury in a combat encounter? Or, if that's still too "OP"..... The first crit injury in a day? That way.... "agency" is preserved, GM adheres to "League principles", and Lucky is a worthwhile purchase without being over...

Re: How to cope with overpowered PCs?

Play how ever you like. The GM book for forbidden lands has a side bar specifically talking about death and failing forward. If you wish to ignore that good gm advice then have fun.
I know. I quoted it in this forum.
