Re: PDF link

Found mine in my email Junk folder
Thank you for this. Mine was also in my SPAM folder, which I rarely check because I never find important stuff there. Well, this one was.

Re: Spellcasters in TLotRRPG

I must also recommend for any designing 'magic rules' for Middle-earth to get hold of the latest issue (#26) of Other Minds and read Thomas Morwinsky's article on "Learning Spells in Roleplaying Games Set in Middle-Earth" - his ideas are crucial IMHO, and one of the reasons I am reworking...

Re: Conversion Of Adversaries From AIME To TLORRPG

Do you find the scaling of the two systems to give issues with hopping back and forth? I haven't run AiME but I understand it goes to level 20, while LotRR caps at 10. I should think that this would cause some sort of issue if creatures are dropped into an adventure without considering that, but I h...

Re: After The Shire

A few thoughts: (1) Consider a campaign around Bree. It's near the shire, so a good "next step" location. Has an intersection of two major roads. Lots of space for players to explore. Tales from Eriador would seem to be a natural progression, if only it would come out in printed form. I ha...

I missed this one! Will be looking for it out in the wild when it's available.

Re: Kickstarter for Moria -- The Long Dark

For those on the fence, there is also an add-on for a couple of the cloth maps. IN addition to the Moria map, one can add on one for the Shire and another of the Eriador continent. Should be nice maps! :)

Re: TOR or LOTR 5E for roleplaying novice

I own both TOR and 5E versions and both are really solid. I've heard others speak highly of TOR so I'll throw in some ideas about why you might pick the 5E version. [1] The basic 5E rules are a free download on the WotC main website. (Both a player and DM version.) The 5E LotRR rules aren't exactly ...

Some great conversation, and great ideas here. I'm probably going to copy-paste most of this thread to mine for ideas, so thanks for keeping it going! :D

Re: Shipping info

Hey, I'm in the US and I have been seeing that people are receiving tracking info, and even receiving their packages in some cases. I have been checking my email but haven't seen anything yet, it's Friday and I guess they have been shipping since Monday from what I have seen. I was wondering; does ...
